CIBC Foundation Bursaries

Get the support you need to continue your education in digital technology.

The CIBC Foundation Bursaries cover 100% of the cost of a select SAIT Continuing Education programming in digital transformation education. These bursaries have a preference for students who identify as Black, Canadian Indigenous, or as a member of another equity deserving group. Awards are first-come, first-served. Eligible programs include:

  • Applied AI Product Management (PMGT 020)
  • Applied User Experience Design (DIGI 019)
  • Applied Robotic Process Automation (DIGI 018)
  • Applied Machine Learning Certificate
    • Supervised Learning - Regression, Univariate, and Multivariate Time Series (DATA 024)
    • Deep Learning and Unsupervised Learning (DATA 025)
    • Artificial Intelligence Governance and Machine Learning Operations (DATA 026)
    • Foundations in Applied Machine Learning - Citizen Development (DATA 027)

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Your application will be reviewed and a decision will be sent to each applicant within 5 business days. Successful applicants are only eligible for this bursary once.

The full value of donations received are distributed to the charitable purpose directed by our donors; no administrative costs are levied against donated funds. We take our fiscal responsibilities seriously and are proud of our track record managing fundraising costs. In 2026/27 we expect to raise $18.1 million at a cost of $2.5 million. This translates into a cost of $0.14 for every dollar we raise. The SAIT charity registration number is 107995789 RR 0001.
