We are SAIT's Baja SAE race team. We are a team of 8 SAIT Mechanical Engineering Technology students attending an annual Collegiate Design Series competition held by SAE International. The competition includes thousands of students from North America, competing to determine which school can design the best off road vehicle. In addition to designing, building, testing and racing the Baja buggy on our own, we will also be organizing our facilities, obtaining funding, purchasing the materials and adhering to all SAE regulations. All of this will happen while we are balancing a full course load.

This year the competition is held in Peoria, Illinois at the Caterpillar Edwards Demonstration and Learning Center. The competition is from June 7th to June 10th 2017.

We are looking to raise $5,000.

Our overall budget is $20,000. Your donations are needed so we can purchase the necessary tools, parts and material to complete our buggy. A large portion of your support will be used to get the team to the competition in Peoria, Illinois.
