Are you ready to apply?
Does it sound like this opportunity fit your idea(s)? Getting your project successfully funded will depend on several factors, these are critical as they will be carefully considered during the selection process at SAIT. Ask yourself these questions:
- Do I have a faculty or staff advisor?
- Do I have a group (4+) students who will actively fundraise for the project?
- Do I have a reasonable and achievable financial goal?
- Can I create a budget breakdown to show how the money will be used?
- Do I have a sense of urgency in the need for the project funding (conference date, competition date, funds required by a certain date)?
- Do I meet SAIT’s criteria for an eligible project?
If you’ve answered YES to all of these questions then you can proceed to filling out the application form. If you can't answer YES to all of these questions, then you may need to rethink your crowdfunding project. If you have any questions, you can always contact us to see how we can help!
