This Giving Day, we have three (3) priority areas: REAL Students, REAL Places and REAL Tools and Tech. However, you can support any area at SAIT – whether it is student awards, general need funding, specific school funds, specific research or program areas. Any gift you make will be directed to the area you care about most. If you don't see the specific fund you are looking for, email giving@sait.ca or call 403.774.5214.

You can give online via SAIT.ca/GivingDay. Thank you for your support! 

Yes. 100% of your gift will be directed to the area of your choosing.

Throughout the day we have set up some fun challenges that we will be promoting during the Giving Day. Each challenge will have a goal, and once that goal is met it will 'unlock' matching funds – increasing the impact of your giving!

Yes – the minimum gift amount is $10.

You can expect to see news about our various challenges online by visiting sait.ca/givingday. We will also promote challenges and share content through SAIT's social media accounts. Be sure to follow @SAITAlumni on Facebook, Instagram and X. 

Yes! You can mail in a donation and as long as the envelope is received on or postmarked Oct.29, your gift will count towards our Giving Day totals. You can send a one-time gift via cheque or money order payable to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) or sign up for a monthly gift with your void cheque. Our address is:

Yes. Recurring gifts are an amazing way to make a significant impact. You can make a one-time gift, a gift by installments, or an ongoing recurring gift. All one-time gifts and payments made towards a commitment will be counted in our totals for Giving Day. 

SAIT’s Giving Day is a key part of the Real Futures campaign, uniting our community to invest in student success and the future of SAIT.  What began as a 24-hour fundraising event has grown into a month-long movement fueled by matching opportunities, giving challenges, inspiring stories and collective action. As we celebrate the 10th annual Giving Day this October, alumni, employees, students, donors and community partners are coming to create meaningful impact for learners. Yes. All donations made to SAIT will receive tax receipts before the end of the calendar year
