We are a team of Film and Video Production students at SAIT working on a 5 minute psychological drama/horror that explores fear and control. The story follows a woman who is forced down a never-ending staircase by a cold research team, only to discover that the monsters waiting below are no different from the ones who sent her there.
This is a dark, atmospheric project, and we are putting a lot of care into making every detail feel real and immersive on screen. We have a cast of 5 actors, 22 crew members working both on set and throughout pre-production, and 3 full shooting days planned to bring this film to life. Everyone involved has been putting in a huge amount of time, effort, and energy to make this happen, and we are all working incredibly hard to make the best project possible. To reach that goal, we need support to cover important production costs that will directly affect the quality of the film.
Every donation helps us make this film in the most positive way possible, directly improving both the quality of the film and the experience behind it. This is also part of a larger journey. Our class will continue creating films in the next summer semester, including a final screening. Any extra support helps us keep building toward those future projects.
