Ten students from the Interactive Design Diploma program at SAIT are planning a once-in-lifetime experience to attend the European Innovation Academy (EIA) between July 11 and Aug 4, 2024. The story of EIA is one of leadership in tech entrepreneurship education, marked by a commitment to quality, innovation, and global collaboration. Born from partnerships with some of the world's leading institutions, including Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and Google, and now SAIT, EIA stands out as a non-profit educational initiative aimed at fostering a new generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
EIA prides itself on its diverse and inclusive learning environment, boasting a vibrant multicultural network of over 15,000 alumni from more than 85 countries. This community is not just about fostering connections; it's about creating a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, and improvement, encouraging every member to become the best version of themselves.
The academy's approach to education is innovative and experiential, involving participants in real-world problem-solving and business creation. This method is exemplified in their summer programs, which attract the brightest minds from global universities, forming interdisciplinary teams that work on projects in an intercultural setting, mentored by global industry leaders. On top of this amazing experience to exercise learned skills on a global stage, SAIT students enrolled in this program will also receive full credits for their final capstone project.
We are hoping to raise $20,000 with the help of supporters like you to offset the costs for this trip and future EIA trips to ensure students get all the support they need including the essentials such as flights, insurance, food and accommodation but also the support of a trip leader to help with logistics and event planning during the 25 days overseas.
Your support is integral to the success of the SAIT IDD students, allowing us to participate and interact with renowned worldwide universities and enhancing the progression and quality of SAIT's student-led extracurricular endeavors. Donations made are tax deductible – SAIT will provide official receipts to donors when funds are received.
