When a friend or family member passes on, we want memories of them to stay alive. At SAIT, a truly unique way to do just that is by making a gift to the in their honour or memory, ensure a fitting and lasting legacy. Memorial or tribute giving is a wonderful way to honour or remember someone and make a difference at SAIT at the same time. Your gift can support students, research or another area on campus. Donations can be directed to either an already established fund or a newly created fund. These donations are crucial in providing assistance to students through scholarships and bursaries, supporting academic programs and enhancing learning experience for SAIT students.
Philip Stewart was many things: A loving father, husband, bother and son, a trusted colleague and a treasured friend. Philip asked for an award to be established with his name, to be a legacy to continue to make the world better for students who are living with or impacted by crohn's or primary sclerosing cholangitis.

Celebrate the life of Roy Hennessy by making a gift to The Roy Hennessy Award for Excellence in Broadcasting, supporting a graduating student in radio major, who demonstrates positive attitude, leadership skills and academic achievement.
Celebrate the life of Bill McTaggar, inspired educator, devoted father and grandfather, science enthusiast and guaranteed wellspring of humour, with a gift to the memorial student award. Bill McTaggart passed away in 2021, but his commitment to helping others continues through this award.
In memory of David Sartorelli, this endowment provides funding to students in SAIT Emergency Medical Technology - Paramedic Program. The awards support students in their 3rd semester who demonstrate academic achievement, financial need and compassion to patients and a passion for the profession.

Marilyn Thompson worked in the travel industry for over 35 years and to say she loved her job. The award in her name goes to a second-year student enrolled in the SAIT Travel and Tourism Program in the School of Hospitality and Tourism.
Gerry was a husband, father, grandfather, favourite uncle and true friend to many. He was an ordinary man who lived his life in an extraordinary way. He touched many, many lives and each of his several careers were each accomplished with passion, and you can remember him by making a gift.

The Robert S. Bruce award is given to a student in the Petroleum Engineering Technology program. Student sare selected based on financial need, academic achievement, and leadership with preference for a student from Alberta with experience in the Petroleum industry.

Brandon Thomas, a 17-year-old high school student, was killed by an impaired driver on December 6th, 2012. He had a passion for cars and was looking forward to coming to SAIT to study in automotive technology.
Jim worked at SAIT for more than 10 years and was also a graduate from SAIT’s Library Information Technology program. The SAIT community is creating a fund in Jim’s name and accepting donations in his memory and in recognition of his love for SAIT and SAIT students.
Jordan Fish graduated from SAIT in 2014. Jordan was dedicated to his studies and career, and his ambition promised a bright future. He made a positive impact on the people he encountered, including lifelong friends from his childhood who cherished his presence.
Marshall's passion extended beyond functionality; he aimed to create homes that inspired a sense of pride. He believed in empowering homeowners and promoting self-sufficiency. To honor his values and contributions, a scholarship was established in his memory.
