Construction Safety Continuing Education Bursary

Build safer, stronger, and more collaborative worksites by enhancing your leadership, safety, and communication skills. The Construction Safety Continuing Education Bursary covers 75% of the tuition for any of seven eligible courses. Qualified applicants can take one or more courses. Bursary funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are reviewed within five business days, and the bursary remains open until all funds are allocated.

To be eligible, you must be:

at least 18 years old, AND

a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person (with a valid work or study permit and Notice of Decision), AND

an Alberta Resident with an Alberta address.

Note: This bursary is for individual workers and cannot be applied toward corporate group training

The personal information collected in this application is for the purpose of determining award recipients. This information and any documents submitted to SAIT by the student will be used as part of the assessment process conducted by SAIT faculty and administration to determine eligibility to receive student awards. In the event that you become a student award recipient, SAIT will disclose your information to the awards donor as authorized by section 4(c) of the Protection of Privacy Act. A notification letter will be provided to the award donor to inform them that you are the recipient and to encourage contact between you and the donor. The information would include your name, the name of your program, email address and phone number obtained from your application and SAIT registration. Your information, excluding private information like contact details and financial information, may also be used in whole or in part and may be reproduced or published.
