SAIT Giving Day celebrates the donors, alumni, employees and community members who help create opportunities for students. Share your SAIT story and thank the supporters who make student success possible. 

Submit a video for a chance to win a Safeway gift basket valued at $150. Selected video submissions may also be featured in Giving Day and donor appreciation communications following the campaign. 

Contest deadline: Submit your video by October 29, 2026.

Why your story matters  

Every Giving Day gift helps create opportunities for SAIT students. Your video can help donors see the impact of their support through the voices and experiences of students like you. 

Your story doesn't need to be polished. It just needs to be yours! 

How to enter

Keep it simple and be yourself!

- Record a video that is 60 seconds or less. Your phone works great!
- Introduce yourself with your name and SAIT program. 
- Tell jus your story: What does SAIT mean to you, or what has SAIT helped you achieve? What's the best part of being at SAIT?
- Share some thanks: What would you like to say to the donors and supporters who help make student experiences like your possible? 
- Submit your video and provide your contact details before the contest closes.

 Don't overthink it. Speak from your heart, have some fun and let your personality come through!

Before you submit 

By submitting a video, you acknowledge and agree that SAIT may edit, reproduce, publish, share, and distribute your submission for SAIT Giving Day, donor stewardship, marketing, promotional, and other institutional communications. This may include use on SAIT websites, social media channels, digital communications, presentations, and other internal or external platforms.
