Supper Club: Special Edition Events

Supper Club: Special Edition events are themed evenings planned by students of SAIT’s School of Hospitality & Tourism, and can be a collaboration between multiple programs and classes. With guidance of the instructors, students fully plan, prepare and execute a special event in one of our live classroom venues, while applying their classroom learnings in a hands-on environment. Emphasis is placed on time-management, teamwork and leadership.

These events allow students to tailor a guest experience from start to finish. When the hospitality management and culinary programs collaborate, it creates a unique opportunity for students to experience both the front of house aspect and the back of house aspect: beverage management students may coordinate with culinary students to develop complimentary menus , while event management students may oversee the décor, entertainment, marketing, and more.

Each registration site will include more event details and information about the students, courses, and programs involved.  Please make sure to check back often, to see if there is a Special Edition pop-up event in the near future.

The full value of donations received are distributed to the charitable purpose directed by our donors; no administrative costs are levied against donated funds. We take our fiscal responsibilities seriously and are proud of our track record managing fundraising costs. In 2024/25 we expect to raise $20 million at a cost of $2.7 million. This translates into a cost of $0.14 for every dollar we raise. In 2023/24 we invested $2.6 million in fundraising and raised $42.3 million. The SAIT charity registration number is 107995789 RR 0001.
