The Family Campaign is the annual internal fundraising campaign for all SAIT employees.

The Family Campaign is about making futures real — for students and for our SAIT community.

Student Success: Your participation brings financial relief to students, invests in learning initiatives, and helps them pursue their dreams. Every gift creates new opportunities for students to learn, grow, and succeed, benefiting society as a whole.

Staff Engagement: It’s also about celebrating us — our people, our accomplishments, and our institution. Through programs like Shout Out, we recognize and appreciate colleagues in a tangible, meaningful way.

When we give, we inspire others — alumni, foundations, and corporations to join in. Together, we empower the next generation of SAIT students. No matter your role, you’re part of shaping bold futures.

Our Family Campaign runs annually. In 2026, the campaign will take place from Feb. 17 to March 20. 

There are lots of ways to make your impact real:

• Give a Gift: Any amount makes a difference. Choose a one-time gift or set up monthly contributions.
• Create a Student Award: Starting at $83.33/month, you can build bold futures and leave a lasting legacy.
• Celebrate Colleagues: Use the Shout Out program to recognize and honor coworkers who inspire you.
• Spread the Word: Share campaign updates, use virtual backgrounds, and spark conversations in meetings or emails.
• Volunteer: Become a Real Volunteer and rally your team — help deliver Shout Outs, share info, and keep the energy high. There will also be short activities where you can jump in to support students.
• Engage on Forums & Events: Join conversations on SAITNOW, take part in on-campus activities, or attend a wellness class organized in support of the Family Campaign.

Your choice. We encourage you to support one of this year’s priority funds — Real Students, Real Places and Kohkoms Kahsagahetin  Fund. You are also welcome to check out one of our employee-led initiatives. 

ShoutOut proceeds assist important student-focused funds. For example, regular ShoutOuts support Family Campaign Peer Recognition Award, and Belonging Matters ShoutOuts support the Belonging Matters Fund.  

Becoming a donor is simple whether recurring or onetime. You make a REAL difference. Sign up for payroll deductions online or via the attached form. Payroll deduction to be the easiest way to make a gift, as ongoing payments allow your total gift to be broken into smaller amounts.

You can make a one-time gift through our online giving form.

Yes. You will receive your tax receipt electronically if you give a one-time gift through your credit card or a cheque. If you donate through the payroll deduction, you will see your combined payroll deductions donation on line 46 of your T4 for the year 2025. 

On Feb. 11, 2025 SAIT announced the Real Futures Campaign, a bold initiative to raise $150 million to transform how, who and what we teach. Together, we will equip students with what's needed to thrive in the future, today.
