Supper Club: Around the World Series
Supper Club: Around the World events whisk you away to our live classroom to experience An Evening in a different global destination. Each event is a result of the Community Events and Guest Services course, part of the Culinary Arts program at the School of Hospitality & Tourism. Students design the food and beverage menus, choose the décor, create and implement a marketing strategy, and invite you as their guests to experience a night out in our downtown live classroom at the Tastemarket Canadian Kitchen. With live action stations and the open kitchens there’s plenty of opportunity to see our students in action, and we encourage guests to interact with students whenever possible.
Throughout the course, students gain valuable experience creating and executing an event with their fellow students, and community partners. Drawing on creativity, critical thinking, and self-discipline, the course allows students to explore the elements of guest service and the impact of marketing and legislation on the hospitality industry. Emphasis is placed on the importance of community engagement as a hospitality professional, and teamwork. Events form an integral part of the hospitality industry, and effective planning ensures a successful outcome for the client, and a profitable contribution to the business.
Please see below for upcoming events & note registration submissions will not be accepted once the event is sold out.
