Supper Club: SAIT+ Series

Supper Club: SAIT+ Series features unique partnerships between the School of Hospitality and Tourism and the community: restaurants, industry professionals, social organizations, sustainability partners, and more. With the guidance of the instructor and collaboration with our partner, students design and execute a private or semi-public event. The students work together to develop the entirety of the guest experience including food and beverage menus, décor, floorplans, entertainment elements and more. The evening is enhanced with the action in the open kitchens and stations throughout our live classroom that allow and encourage our guests to interact with the students throughout the evening at the Tastemarket Canadian Kitchen.

SAIT+ events are a result of the Community Events and Guest Services course, part of the Culinary Arts program at the School of Hospitality & Tourism. Throughout the course, students gain valuable experience creating and executing an event with their fellow students, and community partners.  Drawing on creativity, critical thinking, and self-discipline, the course allows students to explore the elements of guest service and the impact of marketing and legislation on the hospitality industry.  Emphasis is placed on the importance of community engagement as a hospitality professional, and teamwork. Events form an integral part of the hospitality industry, and effective planning ensures a successful outcome for the client, and a profitable contribution to the business.

Please see below for upcoming events & note registration submissions will not be accepted once the event is sold out.
